‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) woke up, he would say: Glory be to Allah, the Magnificent. Praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the Greatest. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this wind and from the evil of what is in it. And when he woke up in the night, he would say: Allah is the Greatest. Praise be to Allah. Glorified is Allah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the Greatest. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of what is created, from the evil of the accursed Satan, and from the evil of our enemies. (Sahih Muslim 2708). Also, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: When any one of you wakes up in the morning, he should say: ‘Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan’ (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and accepted deeds). And if he wakes up in the evening, he should say the like of that. (Sahih Muslim 735).
