Virtues & Benefits
This dua is a beautiful example of how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to seek Allah's protection in every aspect of our lives, even after mundane acts. By seeking refuge in Allah from 'impurity, filth, the wicked, and the wickedness-spreading' (referring to devils and their whispers), we are essentially asking Allah to cleanse our hearts and minds from any potential negative influences that might lead to bad habits, sins, or ill thoughts. It's a proactive step to maintain spiritual purity and reinforce our connection with Allah, ensuring that even moments of physical cleansing are accompanied by spiritual purification.
