بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male devils and the female devils.
Bismil-lah, Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith.
When to Read
This supplication is recited when exiting the toilet or bathroom. It's a specific protection for that transitional moment when one is leaving a place that has been associated with impurities and potentially unseen entities.
How to Read
Recite this dua clearly and with full concentration as you step out of the bathroom. Imagine yourself invoking Allah's protection specifically against the male and female Jinn who might inhabit such places.
Virtues & Benefits
Reciting this dua is a direct application of the Sunnah, taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to safeguard oneself. The 'khubuth' (male devils) and 'khaba'ith' (female devils) are believed to be the Jinn who reside in places of impurity.
