The prayer of seeking guidance from Allah
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and seek power from Your power, and I ask of Your magnificent grace. For indeed, You have power and I have no power, and You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention your need here) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs โ or he said: in my present and future affairs โ then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs โ or he said: in my present and future affairs โ then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me that which is good wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it.
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and strength from Your power, and I ask from Your immense grace. For indeed, You have power and I have no power, and You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter โ (then you should mention your need specifically) โ is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end in my affairs (or: in my present and future affairs), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and seek ability by Your power, and I ask of Your great bounty.
