Al-Mugirah ibn Shu'bah reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say, 'O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm on Your religion.' He also said: 'I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), 'O Allah's Messenger, we have believed in you and in what you brought to us, and we have struggled against those who opposed you. Do you fear for us?' He said: 'Yes, the hearts are between two fingers of the Most Merciful, and He turns them (as He wills).' — Sahih Muslim 2669
