اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالتُّقَىٰ وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَىٰ

‘Abdullah b. Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate: 'Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-'afafa, wal-ghina.' (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment). And he reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) made this supplication: 'Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-'afafa, wal-ghina.' (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment). And this supplication made by the servants of the Most Merciful (is): 'Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.' (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201).
