O Allah, guide me and set me on the right path, and by Your guidance, set my arrow straight.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no prayer for a person whose prayer is not performed with purity of the heart, and no prostration with which a servant does not humble himself to Allah. And there is no prayer and no prostration except that I supplicate therein with these words: 'Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni, wadhkur bi-hidāyatik sadāda sahmi' (O Allah, guide me and set me on the right path, and by Your guidance, set my arrow straight).' In another narration: 'O Allah, I ask You for guidance and correctness.' Another narration: 'O Allah, guide me and make me firm in my correctness.'
