O Allah, guide us to the best of manners, for none can guide to the best of them except You. And turn us away from bad manners, for none can turn us away from them except You.
Allahumma ihdina li-ahsani al-akhlaqi la yahdi li-ahsaniha illa Anta, wa-srif 'anna sayyi'aha la yasrifu 'anna sayyi'aha illa Anta.

Virtues & Benefits
This supplication directly asks Allah to grant us the best of character. Good character, or 'husn al-khuluq', is a cornerstone of Islamic brotherhood and sisterhood. It encompasses kindness, compassion, patience, and understanding – all essential elements for fostering unity. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, 'The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 3559). By seeking guidance to the best manners, we are essentially asking Allah to enable us to be the best of brothers and sisters to one another.
