Dua for the Acceptance and Blessing of Community Gatherings

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ تَوْفِيقَ أَهْلِ الْهُدَى، وَأَعْمَالَ أَهْلِ التَّقْوَى، وَمُنَاصَحَةَ أَهْلِ التَّوْبَةِ، وَعَزْمَ أَهْلِ الصَّبْرِ، وَجِدَّ أَهْلِ الْخَشْيَةِ، وَطَلَبَ أَهْلِ الرَّغْبَةِ، وَشُكْرَ أَهْلِ الْحَذَرِ، وَتَوَاضُعَ أَهْلِ الْوَرَعِ، حَتَّى نَكُونَ لَكَ كَمَا تُحِبُّ أَنْ نَكُونَ، وَحَتَّى نَجْعَلَ جُهْدَنَا فِي ذِكْرِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ عَمَلاً قَلِيلاً مِنْ إِخْلاقٍ، وَاجْعَلْهُ لَنَا نَجَاةً. اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ. اللَّهُمَّ نَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ، حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَنَا جَنَّتَكَ. اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ هَذَا الاجْتِمَاعَ مَبَارَكًا وَأَثْمِرْهُ بِالْخَيْرِ وَالنَّفْعِ لِجَمِيعِ الْحَاضِرِينَ وَلِلْمُسْلِمِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا وَاجْعَلْهُ خَالِصًا لِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, we ask You for the success of the guided, the deeds of the God-conscious, the sincere advice of the repentant, the resolve of the patient, the earnest effort of the fearful, the seeking of the desirous, the gratitude of the cautious, and the humility of the pious, so that we may be for You as You love us to be, and so that we may dedicate our efforts to Your remembrance. O Allah, we ask You for a little deed done with sincerity, and make it a means of salvation for us. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is not humbled, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a dua that is not answered. O Allah, save us by Your mercy from Your punishment, until You enable us to reach Your Paradise. O Allah, help us to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner. O Allah, make this gathering blessed and fruitful with goodness and benefit for all those present and for all Muslims. O Allah, accept from us and make it purely for Your noble Countenance.

Bismillāhir-raḥmānir-raḥīm. Allāhumma innā nas’aluka tawfīqa ahlil-hudā, wa aʿmāla ahlit-taqwā, wa munāṣaḥata ahlit-tawbah, wa ʿazma ahlis-ṣabr, wa jidda ahlil-khashyah, wa ṭalaba ahlir-raghbah, wa shukra ahlil-ḥadhar, wa tawāḍuʿa ahlil-waraʿ, ḥattā nakūna laka kamā tuḥibbu an nakūn, wa ḥattā najʿala juhdanā fī dhikrik. Allāhumma innā nas’aluka ʿamalan qalīlan min ikhlāq, wajʿalhu lanā najāh. Allāhumma innā naʿūdhu bika min ʿilmin lā yanfaʿ, wa min qalbin lā yakhshaʿ, wa min nafsin lā tashbaʿ, wa min duʿā’in lā yustajābu lah. Allāhumma najjinā biraḥmatika min ʿadhābika, ḥattā tuballighanā jannatak. Allāhumma aʿinna ʿalā dhikrika wa shukrika wa ḥusni ʿibādatik. Allāhummajʿal hādhāl-ijtimāʿa mubārakāan wa athmirhu bil-khairi wan-nafʿi li-jamīʿil-ḥāḍirīna wal-muslimīn. Allāhumma taqabbal minnā wajʿalhu khāliṣan li-wajhikal-karīm.
