Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) told us that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says… [the dua]… at the end of a gathering, it will be a seal for them; meaning, a seal for the gathering.'
