O Allah, I ask You for the gratitude of Your blessings, and the best way to worship You, and I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue, and I ask You for the best of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know and what I do not know.

Allahumma inni as'aluka shukra ni'matik, wa husna 'ibadatik, wa as'aluka qalban saliman, wa lisanan sadiqan, wa as'aluka min khayri ma ta'lam, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma a'lam, wa astaghfiruka lima a'lam wa ma la a'lam.

When to Read

This dua is excellent to recite after any successful endeavor, including a productive collaborative meeting. It's a moment when we realize the blessings Allah has bestowed upon us for the endeavor to go well, for the hearts to unite, and for good outcomes to be achieved. Reciting it right after the meeting concludes, perhaps as you're leaving the room or shortly after, helps solidify that gratitude.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and a present heart. Focus on the meaning of each phrase, acknowledging Allah's grace in the meeting's success. It's a personal supplication, so say it quietly to yourself, focusing on the feelings of thankfulness and reliance on Allah for continued guidance and success. Remember that dua is most potent when accompanied by action and a sincere intention to please Allah.

Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive dua encapsulates seeking Allah's help in appreciating His favors (shukr), performing worship correctly (husna 'ibadah), and cultivating inner purity (qalban saliman) and honest communication (lisanan sadiqan). By asking for the good that Allah knows and seeking refuge from the evil that we may or may not be aware of, we place our trust entirely in Him. This practice fosters humility and a constant awareness of our dependence on Allah, which are foundations for continued success and spiritual growth.
