اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this suffering, heal [him/her/them], You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no disease.
Allahumma Rabb an-nas, adhhabil-ba's, is fi, anta ash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama.

The narrator said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited me when I was suffering from a fever. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my fever has increased my ailment.' He said: 'A fever is a sign of the fire of Jahannam (Hell); so cool it with water, or with (water of) the rain of summer.' And he said: 'O Allah, cure the people, and grant them health.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, should I not seek cure with a medicine?' He said: 'Yes, O servants of Allah, seek medical treatment, for Allah has not created any disease but that He has created its cure, except for one disease.' They said: 'What is it?' He said: 'Old age.' (This is the version of Muslim). [...] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach them, when he visited a sick person, to say: 'Allahumma Rabb an-nas, adhhabil-ba's, is fi, anta ash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama.'
