The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'He who says it (the above dua) after Fajr prayer on Friday, if he dies on the same Friday, he will die on the Day of Judgment (with the Seal of Martyrs), and if he who receives it on Friday, it will be a protection for him till the next Friday, and three times as much for three Fridays.' (Sunan Ibn Majah 925). While the primary focus of this dua is on beneficial knowledge, pure sustenance, and accepted deeds, asking for these aligns us with Allah's pleasure. A heart focused on pleasing Allah, seeking His guidance, and striving for righteous actions is less prone to the destructive grip of anger. [...] 'Umm Salamah narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say after the Fajr prayer on the day of Jumu'ah: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.'
