Duas for success in exams and seeking knowledge
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne. Our Lord and Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date-seed, the Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil, and the Furqan. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden, so there is nothing closer than You. Settle our debts for us and enrich us from poverty.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
O Allah, bestow upon me the understanding of the Prophets, the memory of the Messengers, and the inspiration of the close Angels. O Allah, make my tongue eloquent in Your remembrance, my heart full of awe of You, and my innermost being devoted to obeying You. Verily, You have power over all things.
There is no god but You; glory be to You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or have taught any one of Your creatures, or have revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the banisher of my worries.
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. If You will, You can make difficulty easy.
O Allah, open upon us the openings of those who know.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the hidden knowledge of You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, and teach me what is beneficial for me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. If You will, You can make hardship easy.
"My Lord, expand for me my breast, and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech."
