Sahih HadithMusnad Ahmad 1/391, 452

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone You created, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.

Allahumma inni 'abduk, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatik, nasiyati biyadika, madin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qada'uk, as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw anzaltahu fi kitabika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilmil-ghaybi 'indak, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi, wa nura sadri, wa jala'a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi.
