اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي، وَغَمِّي، وَمُذْهِبَ الْحُزْنِ وَالْغَمِّ
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
Allahumma inni 'abduk, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatika, nasiyatii biyadika, madin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qada'uka, as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw anzaltahu fi kitābika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilmil-ghaibi 'indaka, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabī'a qalbī, wa nūra sadri, wa jilā'a huznī, wa dhahaba hammi, wa ghammi, wa mudhhiba al-huzni wal-ghammi.

Narrated 'Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'There is no one who has been afflicted with anxiety and sorrow and has recited this dua, but Allah (SWT) would take away his anxiety and sorrow and replace it with joy.' He was asked: 'O Messenger of Allah! Should we learn these words?' He replied: 'Yes, it is essential for everyone who hears them to learn them.' (Musnad Ahmad 22412. Classified as Hasan by Darussalam.)
