اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً

O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. You make the difficult easy if You wish.

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahlan, wa anta taj'alul-hazna idha shi'ta sahlan.

When to Read

Recite this dua before starting your revision, during stressful moments while studying, and especially just before entering the exam hall. It’s a powerful supplication when you feel overwhelmed by the difficulty of the material or the pressure of the exam.

How to Read

Raise your hands slightly in supplication, facing the Qiblah if possible, and recite with sincerity and conviction. Believe that Allah (SWT) can indeed make what seems difficult, easy. Focus your heart on your Lord and His ability to grant you success.

It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say when difficulty befell him: Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahlan, wa anta taj'alul-hazna idha shi'ta sahlan.' (O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if You wish.)
