بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيمُ

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Bismillahi alladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-samaa'i wa huwa As-Samee' ul-'Aleem.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this three times in the morning, nothing will harm him until he reaches the evening; and whoever says it three times in the evening, nothing will harm him until he reaches the morning.' (Sahih Muslim 2708). It’s a shield against all forms of harm, known and unknown.

Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'He who says, 'Bismillahi alladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-samaa'i wa huwa As-Samee' ul-'Aleem,' three times, will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until he wakes in the morning. And he who says it in the morning three times, will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until he reaches the evening.'
