بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem.

Virtues & Benefits
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised that whoever recites this dua three times in the morning will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening, and whoever recites it three times in the evening will not be afflicted by any calamity until the morning. This protection extends to all forms of harm, including the nuisance and potential danger from insects and pests that often become more active during the evening hours.

Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He who says: 'Bismillahilladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem.' (In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.) three times, will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the morning, and whoever says it in the morning three times will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until the evening." Abu Dawud said: 'Uthman narrated it twice, and he was afflicted by a boil, and the man began to look at him. 'Uthman said: "What are you looking at? By Allah, I did not tell you a hadith, but I have never told a lie to Allah's Messenger ﷺ, and Allah's Messenger ﷺ never told a lie to me. But it was the day when I was afflicted by that ailment. I did not recite it, so that Allah might cure me from it."
