اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيهِ لِصَالِحِ الأَعْمَالِ، وَاقْضِ لِي حَوَائِجِي وَآفَاتِي، يَا مَنْ لَا يَشْكُو عِلَّتَهُ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، يَا رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي.

O Allah, guide me in it (this evening) to righteous deeds, and fulfill my needs and remove my afflictions. O You who has no one to complain to about His ailments except You, O Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me.

Allahumma ihdini feehi li-salihil a'mal, wa-qdhi li hawaa'iji wa-faat-ti, ya man la yashku 'illatahu illa anta, ya rab-bighfir li warhamni.

It was narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say when he entered the evening: 'O Allah, guide me in it (this evening) to righteous deeds, and fulfill my needs and remove my afflictions. O You who has no one to complain to about His ailments except You, O Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me.' (He also used to say when he entered the morning): 'O Allah, guide me in it (this morning) to righteous deeds, and fulfill my needs and remove my afflictions.
