How to Read
Recite this dua sincerely as you are about to enter the masjid or just as you take your first step inside. It's often recited after the dua for entering the home, but its essence remains the same: seeking Allah's blessings and grace within His place of worship.
Virtues & Benefits
Entering the masjid is an act of worship in itself. This dua acknowledges that all goodness and blessings come from Allah's mercy. It sets a humble and hopeful tone for your prayer, asking Allah to accept your worship and grant you benefit from your time spent in the masjid, especially during the blessed nights of Ramadan for Taraweeh.

Abu Usayd Malik ibn Rab'ah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he entered the mosque: 'Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatik.' (O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy.) And when he left it, he invoked: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.' (O Allah, I ask of You from Your bounty.) — Sahih Muslim 713
