When to Read

This dua is specifically recited upon entering the Masjid (mosque). While the words focus on seeking Allah's mercy, we can draw a connection to fulfilling our responsibilities. By seeking Allah's mercy and guidance upon entering His house, we pray for the strength, wisdom, and patience needed to manage our duties at home, whether they are related to family, work, or personal commitments. It's a way of seeking divine support to balance our spiritual and worldly obligations.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity as you place your right foot inside the mosque. It's recommended to enter with your right foot first. Focus on the meaning: you are asking Allah to bless your entrance and open the ways for you to receive His immense mercy, which can encompass all aspects of your life, including your home.

Virtues & Benefits

This supplication is a direct request for Allah's mercy. By entering the Masjid, a place of worship and spiritual connection, we are in a prime position to ask for what we need. Seeking Allah's mercy can grant us peace, ease our burdens, and provide the inner strength required to handle the demands of our lives, including the significant responsibilities we carry at home. It reminds us that even our worldly duties can be supported by divine grace.
