Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: When the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered the masjid, he would say: 'A'udhu billahil-'adheem, wa biwajhihil-kareem, wa bisul'taanihil-qadeem, minash-shaytanir-rajeem.' (I seek refuge in Allah the Almighty, by His Noble Face, and by His Eternal Authority, from the accursed Satan). He would then say: 'If one of you says this, Satan will say: 'He has been protected from me for the rest of the day.'
