اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
Allahumma aftah li abwaba rahmatik
When to Read
This dua is recited upon entering the Masjid. Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you enters the mosque, let him say: Allahumma aftah li abwaba rahmatik. And when he leaves, let him say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.' (O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy. O Allah, I ask of You from Your bounty.)
