How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and a humble heart as you step across the threshold of the mosque. It is customary to enter with the right foot first and exit with the left foot.

Virtues & Benefits

This beautiful dua connects the act of entering the Masjid with a profound request for Allah's mercy. By seeking mercy, we are implicitly asking for Allah's help to be good, to be guided, and to be a source of goodness for others. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that the angels supplicate for those who remain in the Masjid, praying for them and asking Allah's forgiveness. Entering with a supplication for mercy sets a positive intention for our time spent in the house of Allah, inviting divine blessings and enabling us to be instruments of good within the community.
