The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ said: When one of you enters the Masjid, he should say: 'O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.' And when he leaves, he should say: 'O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.' (Sahih Muslim 713). This hadith is often paired with the dua for entering the house, which is 'Bismillah, wa-l-hamdulillah. Assalatu wassalamu 'ala Rasulillah. Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik' (In the name of Allah, and praise be to Allah. O Allah, send prayers and peace upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.)
