Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 142

بِسْمِ اللهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all evil things, male and female (devils).

Bismillahi, Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith.

When to Read

This dua should be recited just before entering the bathroom or toilet. It's a beautiful practice to remember Allah and seek His protection even in a place where one might feel secluded.

How to Read

Recite this dua clearly before you step inside the bathroom. It's recommended to enter with your left foot after reciting the dua, and to exit with your right foot after you have finished and recited the dua for exiting.
