Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'When any one of you goes to the privy, he should say: Bismillahi. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306). The word 'khubuth' refers to male devils and 'khaba'ith' refers to female devils.
