بِسْمِ اللهِ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils (or evil things).

Bismillahi, Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba'ith.

When to Read

This dua is recited just before entering the bathroom or toilet area, and it is specifically for seeking Allah's protection before performing wudu, as the bathroom is a place where impurities reside and jinn are often found.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and presence of mind before stepping into the bathroom. It's a declaration of reliance on Allah for protection in a place that requires seeking refuge.

Virtues & Benefits
