اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all evil jinn, both male and female.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith

This dua is recited before entering the place where one relieves oneself. Public restrooms, like any other, are places where one might seek protection from unseen evils. It's a practice rooted in seeking Allah's safeguard even in mundane activities.

How to Read

Recite this dua just before you step inside the restroom. It's a quiet, personal supplication. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would often say this before entering the latrine. It's a moment to turn your heart to Allah for protection.

Virtues & Benefits

Seeking refuge in Allah in this manner protects you from the whispers and mischief of jinn, particularly those that frequent such places. It's a beautiful reminder that Allah's protection encompasses all aspects of our lives, even the private ones. This simple act transforms a routine necessity into an act of worship and reliance on the Creator.
