اللَّهُمَّ آتِنِي فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنِي عَذَابَ النَّارِ
O Allah, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.
Allahumma ati-ni fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qini 'adhaban-nar
When to Read
This comprehensive dua is particularly powerful when recited during the final portion of the prayer, after the Tashahhud and before the Salam. It's also excellent to make during prostration (sujood), as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, 'The closest the servant comes to his Lord is when he is in prostration, so increase in supplication.'
