O Allah, I ask You for all the good, the immediate and the delayed, that which I know and that which I do not know. And I seek refuge in You from all the evil, the immediate and the delayed, that which I know and that which I do not know. O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your servant and Your Prophet asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that Your servant and Your Prophet sought refuge in. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and that which brings one closer to it of speech or action, and I seek refuge in You from the Hellfire and that which brings one closer to it of speech or action. And I ask You to make every decree that You decree for me good.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us many comprehensive supplications. One such is found in Sahih Muslim: عَنۡ عَبۡدِ ٱللَّهِ بۡنِ مَسۡعُودٍ قَالَ عَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ﷺ ٱلتَّشَهُّدَ وَفِي ٱلتَّشَهُّدِ عَلَّمَنِي ٱلتَّعَوُّذَ مِنۡ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱلۡقَبۡرِ وَمِنۡ فِتۡنَةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡآخِرَةِ وَمِنۡ شَرِّ فِتۡنَةِ ٱلۡمَسِيحِ ٱلدَّجَّالِ وَقَالَ: «إِذَا فَرَغَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ ٱلتَّشَهُّدِ فَلْيَقُلِ: ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا» **Translation:** Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) taught us the Tashahhud, and in the Tashahhud, he taught us to seek refuge from the punishment of Hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of this life and the Hereafter, and from the evil of the trial of the False Dajjal. And he said: 'When any one of you finishes the Tashahhud, let him supplicate: 'O Allah, I ask You for all the good, the immediate and the delayed, that which I know and that which I do not know. And I ask You to make every decree that You decree for me good.' (Sahih Muslim 1007)
