O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and old age. I seek refuge in You from the trials of the grave and the punishment of the grave. I seek refuge in You from the trials of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the test of wealth, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of the test of poverty. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trials of this world, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trials of the Hereafter.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to invoke Allah saying: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and old age, from the evil of the trials of the Night and the Day, and from the evil of Al-Dajjal. O Allah! Wash away my sins with water and hail and purify my heart from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. And, O Allah! Rail me (distance me) from my sins as You have railed the East and the West (from each other). O Allah! I ask for the guidance, piety, chastity and richness (contentment)." (Sahih Muslim 2710 also includes similar phrasing, and Sahih al-Bukhari 6368 specifically mentions 'fitnatil-qabr', 'adhabal-qabr', 'fitnatin-nar', 'adhaban-nar', 'sharri fitnatil-ghina', 'sharri fitnatil-faqr', 'sharri fitnatid-dunya', and 'sharri fitnatil-akhirah' as recited above).
