Dua for Remembering the Prophet's ﷺ Miraj in Prayer

During Prayer
Hasan HadithSunan At-Tirmidhi 1894

O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and resolve in doing what is right. I ask You for the ability to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know.

Allahumma inni as'alukal-thabat fil-amr, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushd, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matik, wa husna 'ibadatik, wa as'aluka qalban saleeman, wa lisaanan sadika, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma ta'lam, wa as'aluka min khairi ma ta'lam, wa astaghfiruka mimma ta'lam.

Reciting this dua, especially when reflecting on the Miraj, helps you to internalize its core lessons: the importance of *Imaan* (faith) and *Yaqeen* (certainty) in Allah's power, the Prophet's ﷺ elevated status, and the profound spiritual connection that can be achieved through devotion. It fosters a desire for spiritual growth, resilience in the face of challenges, and a deeper appreciation for Allah's blessings. Source & Authentication

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet ﷺ used to teach us the tashahhud, laying his hand on our palms, saying: *'At-tahiyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibatu. As-salamu 'alaika ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As-salamu 'alaina wa 'ala 'ibadillahis-salihin. Ash-hadu al-la ilaha ill-Allah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh.'* Then he would teach us a comprehensive dua: *'Allahumma inni as'aluka al-thabat fil-amr, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushd, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matik, wa husna 'ibadatik, wa as'aluka qalbansaleeman, wa lisaanan sadika, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma ta'lam, wa as'aluka min khairi ma ta'lam, wa astaghfiruka mimma ta'lam.'* (This version, though it includes the Tashahhud, highlights the comprehensive nature of the supplication taught by the Prophet ﷺ. The specific dua itself is Hasan as authenticated by scholars like Al-Albani when recited on its own for general supplication.)
