اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need anyone other than You.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua is a direct supplication for Allah's provision and independence. By asking to be sufficed with lawful means, we are seeking Allah's help to avoid the temptation and pitfalls of unlawful earnings, which often lead to further hardship and displeasure of Allah. The second part, asking to be enriched by Allah's grace, is a request for contentment and freedom from reliance on anyone but Him. ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I cannot afford to pay off my debt, so give me something.' He ﷺ said: 'Shall I not teach you some words that, if you say them, Allah will, on your behalf, pay off your debt, even if it were as large as Mount Sabir? Then he ﷺ said: Say: O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need anyone other than You.' (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3563).
