اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
Allahumma ikfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak

Virtues & Benefits
This dua directly asks Allah to replace unlawful sources of income or relief with lawful ones, and to grant a level of self-sufficiency that comes only from Him. It fosters tawakkul (reliance on Allah) and acknowledges that true wealth and freedom from need are solely in His hands. By seeking His 'kifayah' (sufficiency) and 'ghina' (richness), we are asking for a profound blessing that removes reliance on creation and strengthens our connection with the Creator.
Source & Authentication
The hadith states that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, if I cannot pay off the debt, what should I do?' He (peace be upon him) said: 'O Ali, teach you two words that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught me, and if you followed them, then the equivalent of a mountain of debt would be paid off for you. Say: O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone other than You.' So, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'I said this, and indeed Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, paid off my debt, and I had nothing to pay it off with, except that Allah paid it off.'
