بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm, whether on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

When to Read
This powerful dua is recommended to be recited three times in the morning and three times in the evening. It's especially beneficial to recite it for your children before they leave the house for school or any other place where they might face challenges, including bullying. Making it a daily practice can invoke Allah's protection over them.

Recite this dua with sincerity and conviction, focusing on the meaning of the words. You can blow gently onto your child after reciting, or place your hand on their head while doing so. Encouraging your child to memorize and recite this dua themselves, with understanding, can also empower them.
Virtues & Benefits
Reciting this dua offers immense protection from harm, both physical and spiritual. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised that whoever says this three times in the morning will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until the evening, and whoever says it three times in the evening will not be afflicted until the morning. (Sahih Muslim 2708). This general protection extends to shielding children from negative influences and harmful actions like bullying, by invoking Allah's omnipresent care and awareness.

Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'He who says: 'Bismillahi alladhi la yadhurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem' (In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm, whether on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing) three times each morning, will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until the evening. And whoever says it three times in the evening will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until the morning.' Sunan Abi Dawud 5087. Also reported by Sahih Muslim 2708.
