The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'When you see off one who is traveling, say to him: 'أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ' (Astawdi'u Allaha deenaka wa amanataka wa khawateema 'amalik - I entrust your religion, your trust, and the final deeds of your life to Allah). And when he returns, say to him: 'حَتَّى يَسْتَوْدِعَ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ' (Hatta yastawdi'a Allaha deenaka wa amanataka wa khawateema 'amalik - May Allah protect your religion, your trust, and the final deeds of your life).'
