اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَفَطِّمْهُ بِالدِّينِ
O Allah, teach him the Book (knowledge) and wisdom, and make him proficient in religion.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Teach your children swimming and archery, and tell them to recite poetry.' Then he mentioned a narration similar to that of Ibn 'Umar, and in the narration of Ibn 'Abbas: 'Teach your children the Book and wisdom.'
