When to Read
This is a foundational dua for parents. You can recite it any time, but it's especially poignant during the times you make personal supplications, after Salah, or during the blessed nights like Laylat al-Qadr. Think of it as a continuous prayer for your children's well-being, which includes the quality of their social circles. When praying for their righteousness, we implicitly pray that Allah guides them towards good company and keeps them away from harmful influences.
