The narration states that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I let it loose and trust in Allah?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: 'Tie it and trust in Allah.' (Sahih al-Tirmidhi 2517). The following hadith in Sunan Abi Dawud is related to seeking Allah's help through His powerful deeds: It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say: 'O Allah, I ask You by Your might and the might of the heavens and the earth.' Then it mentions the following dua: 'O Allah, I ask You by Your might and the might of the heavens and the earth, and by whatever is between them, and by Your Throne and whatever is above it, and by Your Throne and whatever is below it, and by the [great] Name of Allah, and by Your light, and by Your mercy, and by Your grace, and by Your angels and Your Books. No one can protect anyone from the punishment of Allah except You.' And it also mentions: 'O Allah, I ask You by the miracles of Moses' staff and by the people of Moses and the people of Pharaoh on earth.'
