It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No servant is afflicted with anxiety or grief, and then says: 'O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your handmaid. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your justice over me is ever certain. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself by, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or which You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the Unseen: That You make the Quran the light of my heart, and the healing of my chest, and a remover of my sadness and a banisher of my anxiety.' – except that Allah will take away his anxiety and grief, and replace it with joy." He was told: "O Messenger of Allah, should we not learn these words?" He said: "Yes, it is befitting for him who hears them to learn them." (Sunan Ibn Majah 3828, Sahih) The hadith presented in the JSON entry is a separate narration that emphasizes seeking Allah's assistance through the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and His attributes for complete well-being.
