Narrated Tariq bin Ashyam: I heard the Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ say: The most comprehensive of the supplications of the servants to their Lord is: O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion and my worldly affairs. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency. O Allah, I ask You for a contented heart, and truthful speech, and I ask You for the best of what You know and seek refuge in You from the worst of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. O Allah, You are the Knower of the unseen, and You have power over all things, and You are Able to do all things. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of every moving creature that You seize by the forelock. O Allah, I ask You for the good that You have with You, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that You have with You. O Allah, do not deprive us of what You have ordained for us, and bless that which You have bestowed upon us, and make us successors to those who have passed away. O Allah, do not put us to trial by the trials of life and death, and do not make us miserable after giving us goodness. O Allah, grant us your mercy and guide us to the right way and let us know the right way. I say: O Allah, forgive me, and have mercy on me, and guide me, and grant me health, and provide for me. (He said) These are the five supplications that we will ask Allah for.
