Dua for Softening the Anger of a Ruler or Authority Figure

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ

O Allah, we ask You to protect us from them and seek refuge in You from their evils.

Allahumma inna naj'aluka fi nuhurihim wa na'udhu bika min shururihim

When to Read

This dua is particularly useful when facing an unjust or angry ruler, oppressive authority figure, or someone in a position of power who is causing you distress or fear. Recite it when you anticipate an encounter, are about to approach them, or are suffering under their unjust actions. It's a plea to Allah for protection and a softening of their disposition.
