O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, and the abandoning of evil deeds, and love for the poor. And when You intend for Your creation a trial, take me to Yourself without having been put to trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.

Source & Authentication
It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach them this supplication, just as he taught them a Surah from the Qur'an: 'O Allah, I ask You for firmness in the matter, and I ask You for the resolve to follow guidance, and I ask You for the intention to be grateful to Your blessings, and I ask You for good worship. And I ask You for a sound tongue of truthfulness in anger and satisfaction. And I ask You for a righteous heart. And I ask You for the best of knowledge, and the best of actions, and the best of deeds. And I ask You for all the good, the hastening of which is from it and the delaying of which is from it. And I seek refuge in You from all evil, the hastening of which is from it and the delaying of which is from it. O Allah, I ask You for the happiness of the family of Muhammad and the closeness to them. And I ask You for the safety from every sin, and the provision of every goodness, and the raising in degrees. And I ask You for the success of the Fath, and the pleasure of all that is decreed. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the punishment of the Fire, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of the punishment of the Grave, and I ask You for the contentment with the decree. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of the Day of Judgment. O Allah, with Your knowledge of the unseen, and Your power over creation, let me live if You know that living is best for me, and take me away if You know that death is best for me. And I ask You for the fear of You in the hidden and the open. And I ask You for the word of truth in satisfaction and anger. And I ask You for moderation in wealth and poverty. And I ask You for a blessing that does not cease. And I ask You for the pleasure of Your judgment. And I ask You for the life of contentment after death. And I ask You for the enjoyment of looking at Your noble Face, and the longing for meeting You without a harmful affliction or a misleading trial. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith, and make us guides who are guided.' Then he said: 'O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, and the abandoning of evil deeds, and love for the poor. And when You intend for Your creation a trial, take me to Yourself without having been put to trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.'
