اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ وَهَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, from his madness, his arrogance, and his poetry.

‘Abdullah (bin Mas’ud) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No one who has an atom’s weight of pride in his heart will enter Paradise.' A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what if a man likes his clothes to look good and his shoes to look good?' He said: 'Allah does not like the proud man who behaves arrogantly.' And he mentioned: 'The devil tempts him when he is praying, and comes to him when he is fighting and makes him afraid, and comes to him when he has fever and blows on him. And he said: The devil comes to a man when he is praying and tempts him with his thoughts, and that is the greater devil. And he said: When one of you performs Wudu’ and says: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minash-shaytanir-rajeem, wa hamzihi wa naf'khi wa naftih, he said: That is, his madness, his arrogance, and his poetry.'
