Dua for Calmness During Humiliation: Seeking Allah's Help

Anger
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 2708

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and the reversal of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the difficulty of the situation, and the evil of fate, and the rejoicing of the enemies, and the torment of Allah.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatika, wa fuj'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhalil-amr, wa su'il-qada', wa shamatatil-a'daa', wa ba'sil-illah.

Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive dua offers refuge from various adversities that can shake a believer's faith and composure. Specifically in the context of humiliation, it helps by: * **Seeking protection from divine displeasure:** By seeking refuge from Allah's anger and displeasure, we acknowledge that our own reactions can sometimes lead us astray.
