O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from the heavy burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa dala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal

Reciting it as you prepare to rest can help clear your mind and strengthen your resolve for the next day, seeking Allah's protection against these debilitating traits.
How to Read

While it can be recited at any time, making it a part of your pre-sleep routine, perhaps after the supplications specific to sleep, can be very effective. Raise your hands as you would for other duas, or place your right hand on your chest where your heart is, focusing your intention on seeking Allah's help.
Virtues & Benefits
This supplication directly addresses two key spiritual and practical obstacles: worry/grief (which can lead to inaction) and helplessness/laziness (the direct cause of procrastination). By seeking refuge in Allah, we acknowledge that true strength and freedom from these burdens come only from Him. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this comprehensive dua to safeguard ourselves against conditions that hinder our spiritual growth, our worldly responsibilities, and our overall well-being.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, 'O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, helplessness and laziness, cowardice and stinginess, and the heavy burden of debt and the overpowering of men.' (He added) 'I said, 'O Allah's Messenger! Why do you repeat invoking these words so often?' He replied, 'I too am afflicted with worry and grief, and I fear that my prayer may not be answered.'
