Sahih HadithAmal al-Yawm wal-Laylah 115

O Allah, the stars have appeared, and the eyes have rested, and You are Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Sleep and slumber do not overtake You. O Allah, make my night good and grant me sleep.

Source & Authentication

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to recite: 'Allahumma gharatin-nujoomu wa hada'atil-'uyoonu wa Anta Hayyun Qayyoomun la ta'khudhuka sinatun wa la nawmun. Allahumma aslih li layli wa nawwimnee.' (O Allah, the stars have appeared, and the eyes have rested, and You are Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Sleep and slumber do not overtake You. O Allah, make my night good and grant me sleep.) This was narrated by Ibn As-Sunni in 'Amal al-Yawm wal-Laylah and graded Sahih by Al-Albani.
