لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things. Glory be to Allah, and all praise is due to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua for a specific reason: to alleviate fear and anxiety when one is alone at night. In a hadith narrated by 'Ibadah ibn as-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever wakes up at night and says: 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. Subhanallah walhamdulillah wa la ilaha illallah wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.' Then he says: 'Rabbighfirli' (O my Lord, forgive me) or he supplicates, it will be accepted. If he performs ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306).
